We are so grateful for the support from the SCMA this year who donated comfort kits instead of writing Christmas cards. Childminders are pretty awesome!

This year SCMA’s annual Christmas donation went to Finlay`s Friends, which is charity originally based in Dunfermline set up in memory of eight-year-old Finlay Bennett, who died suddenly of Meningitis.
Finlay’s Friends provides ‘Comfort Kits’ to families of seriously ill children who are admitted to hospital in an emergency, as well as additional support and resources.

Elected Member, Johanne Wood, who nominated Finlay`s Friends recently delivered the cheque on behalf of SCMA. She said "The donation was so gratefully received and will make six children and their parents who have to go into hospital urgently, very happy with their Comfort Kits. Many thanks once again!"

SCMA is proud to support Finlay’s Friends, who provide invaluable support and resources to families at their time of need – giving them one less thing to worry about, at the worst possible time.
